Hi Everybody,

We're working hard to get Pete Huttlinger's new John Denver #4 DVD out by June 1. I think it's equal to, if not better, than his others, and we're excited about getting it out for you. This one is subtitled "By Special Request" because Pete compiled all the emails and letters he received and chose the most-requested for this lesson. Here's a list of what's on it:

I tried to help and leave a link so people here had a fair chance to voice their opinion and Pete did say in the news letter these songs were requested.If you read the news letter carefuly,Pete does mention on the right middle part of the letter there is a surprize.Who know's what is next???.Dare I say JD V...

I really enjoyed watching Pete's new Chord dvd and I'm sure I will get alot out it.You might might like it as well.I really laughed hard when Pete gave the camera or maybe Happy the glare when he caught himself talking about soloing and then possibly refering to making a dvd for us on soloing.Who know's what the next surprize will be but whatever it is I know that I will be looking forward to it.It would be really cool if Pete did cover some soloing and maybe improvising or even some JC next. :-)

Also,for anyone who is wondering about the Wonderful World Of Chord's DVD.It is just what one would expect from Pete.It is well done and all the main chords that most guitar players will ever use are covered.Sure was a great idea to have something like this done and to have all those chords in order on one dvd will certainly make life a tad bit easier.

My personal preference would be for the Jim Croce 2 DVD lesson to be released before a John Denver IV DVD lesson came out.

That must have been great to see Pete play live and meet him as well.I've been wanting to catch him live now for quite sometime but he has'nt ventured out to this neck of the wood's yet.I'm still hopeing maybe one of these day's I'll catch him but for now I guess I'll have to settle for watching the Wildlife concert and the guitar lesson dvd's.Sure wish I had a set of finger's that could dance on the fretboard like Pete's and I bet that was great seeing him play Superstition.I know he does have lighting fast speed and he knows how to make good use of it.

I agree, Pete's stuff has been fantastic. I'm sure whatever he does will be very good. I was fortunate enough to meet him at a benefit concert for Chris Bozung here in Tennessee. $10 to see Pete and several other world class musicians! To see him play "Superstition" was incredible!! The guy must have extra fingers or something.

Everett,It would be great to see some JT covered and even better maybe if JT could do a dvd himself.One thing to consider as you probably already know is that John Denver did do a great job covering some Beatles song's like,In My Life,Yesterday,Here There And Everywhere & Let It Be and he also did a great job on covering JT's, Fire & Rain.I know that Pete did cover a fingerstyle version on his Solo Acoustic Guitar dvd of ,And I Love Her.So,maybe Pete might be able to cover a Beatles song that JD did.The version of Fire & Rain that JD did is my favorite version of the song.I don't know if it is possible or not with all the copyright stuff involved but I did request on my song list that I emailed Pete that maybe he could cover John Denver's vesion of Fire & Rain.JD did a great job on it and if Pete could cover it,it might satisfy some JT fan's as well.Since Pete did say he is wanting to do another JD or JC dvd you might consider asking him to cover JD's vesion of a Beatles song or JT's Fire & Rain.Whatever Pete comes up with I'm sure it will be a great one.Have a great day.

I love the JD dvd's and I'm sure the JC are equally great. But I was thinking about Beatles or maybe James Taylor.

Hello All,Just got some great news when I checked my email today.Pete Huttlinger sent out a new's letter saying he is wanting to do another John Denver or Jim Croce dvd for us and he is asking what song's people would like to learn.I jumped right on that and sent him my list for both JD and JC.For those who don't get his new's letter now seem's like a good time to voice your opinion on what you want to learn.This sure is some great,great new's for us JD & JC fan's.Personaly,I hope Pete will go for doing another JD first and I was able to come up with 15 more songs I would'nt mind learning and I imagine other's will too.But,I would not mind one bit getting my hand's on another JC dvd either.I've alway's liked the song Lover's Cross so maybe if Pete cover's JC again it will make it on the song list.I sure hope everyone else here will take this chance and blast Pete with their song list's.Here's a quick link for those who are interested.All for now. pete@petehuttlinger.com
