Today we are initiating a brand new way to get your Homespun DVDs. This fast, safe and convenient download system is unlike any other that we've seen. You can order and start working on your lessons within minutes and SAVE as you do it. As an introductory offer, we've made the prices lower than our DVDs - and there's no shipping charge. HOMESPUN INSTANT ACCESS will allow you to get your lessons when you want them, day or night, and use them anytime you're at your computer.
We're starting with 18 of our popular titles, but will be adding new ones regularly. If the response warrants it, we hope to have a good portion of our catalog available for downloading by later this year.
I'll be glad to answer any question you may have about this, but for now you can see our information sheet and download links by clicking here.
We're very excited about this and would love to hear your reaction to this new delivery system.
Thanks for all your support.
Musically yours,
Happy

| I just downloaded and started the Instant Access program. Looks like it will be easy to use. But when I tried to "authorize this computer" I got an email message saying my email address was not in the system. Do I have to set up a special Instant Access account other than my Homespun one? If so, how? Thanks, Rick

Hi Richard,
You don't need to authorize your computer. Just choose a course, click "add to cart", then "check out", then fill in the info on the next screen.
This page has step-by-step instructions:
http://www.homespuntapes.com/static/instantaccess/default2.aspx
Just scroll down to the section with the title:
"Instructions for using Homespun Instant Access"
Let us know if you have any other questions and enjoy Instant Access!

| Happy, A huge thank you from your international customers. This is the future of homepsun for many of us who find the wait unbearable when you set your heart of some of the courses and you want them as soon as possible. This shows real focus on customer service. The Instant Access service leverages the true power of the internet to provide customers with the service they require, on demand and at the right price. I hope increased sales allow you to keep growing the instant access catalog. Best of Luck with it. Terry - Irish Customer.

Thanks Terry,
That's exactly the kind of response we were hoping for! We have many international customers who we know will be helped by this service (avoiding big overseas shipping costs along with long waits), as well as our U.S. and Canadian customers who can order and receive their DVDs almost immediately.
I am looking forward to hearing many such communications from enthusiastic Homespun customers.
Musically yours,
Happy

| Seems to me this should eliminate any NTSC vs. PAL issues too. Right? How does Homespun currently deal with that regarding their DVDs? Also, a related question: If a person purchases an Instant Access download and they want to work with it on their DVD player/TV can they burn it to DVD? Rick

Hi Richard! Great questions!
Homespun Instant Access certainly eliminates any NTSC vs. PAL issues.
To play the courses on TV, I use a DVI to HDMI cable (about $15, I think) to connect my laptop to my TV. Does your TV have an HDMI, DVI or VGA input?
We thought about DVD burning, but in the future, there will be some interactive features that a DVD player cannot handle.

| My TV is just the old analog kind. I have a D/A converter box in front of it now so I can pick up the new digital signals. Regarding Instant Access, I may just stick to ordering the traditional DVDs because I want to use my DVD player remote to work with the lesson in the comfort of my LazyBoy in front of the TV. Rick

| regarding instant access and downloading.. I have nothing against it, but I run my lessons on a portable DVD player. Which allows me run run them essentially anywhere... such as; evenings in my sunroom and sometimes even in my backyard under a tree when the bugs aren't too bad. so downloading them to my PC limts the portability of the lessons for me. I'm sure it is awesome for others.... Dave
