Superscope has taken its hugely popular studio-in-a-box PSD300 and made professional-level improvements in every area for the new PSD340!Have you ever been frustrated as you tried to learn an accompanied piece at full tempo-- Traditionally instrumentalists learn music by working up from a slow tempo until the notes are firmly within their grasp, gradually increasing over time to full speed. The Superscope 340's tempo control allows you to hear the music in its original key while dramatically altering tempo on the fly. You can slow down your CD by 75% or speed it up by 50% (in increments that alter tempo 1% from the previous setting).
An added bonus is that if you're trying to dissect or transcribe another soloist's lightning-fast notes or lyrics, the PSD340 makes it much easier to pick out the notes, dissect the phrasing, or hear lyrics more clearly.
NEW FEATURES:1-BUTTON RECORDING- Just press the RECORD button on either the unit or the IR remote and unit will go directly into Record-Pause when an unfinalized CDR or CD-RW disc is present in the CD recording drive.
RECORD-REVIEW- Immediately play back the last recorded track by pressing the RECORD-REVIEW button. The mic/line input levels will automatically mute, voiding feedback.
REVERB & DELAY EFFECTS- Add ambience to your recordings with built-in microphone reverb and delay effects. You can adjust how much is added, from a little to a lot.
INDEPENDENT DRIVES- The CD Recording drive and CD player drive operate independently. Continuously record while starting and stopping the CD player.
ENHANCED KEY & TEMPO CONTROL- New algorithms offer significant improvement in the PSD340's key and tempo change controls. Now you can slow CDs as much as 75% in 1% or 5% intervals. And the quality is better than ever, so that music still sounds good, with fewer audio artifacts at a greater range of change.
PLAY AND MANIPULATE MP3 FILES- Not only can the PSD340 play MP3 files on a disc, but the music practice features for Key, Tempo, A-B Looping,and Voice Reduction work the same as with CD audio.
BUILT-IN TUNER & METRONOME- Generate an A440 tone or use the chromatic tuner to play a note and see if it is sharp or flat. The built-in metronome allows changes of beats-per-minute and accent beat.
