and western swing band, Asleep At The Wheel. Since 1969, AATW has released
20 albums and earned a reputation as a rug-cutting live act. Their genre-bending
hybrid of American roots music styles has
won six Grammy awards and multiple honors from the Academy of Country Music,
Country Music Association and Rolling Stone. Keyboardist Tim Alexander is
a 12-year AATW veteran. Master fiddler and mandolinist Johnny Gimble is one
of western swingÕs legendary players.
