thanks for sharing nice information https://pogocustomersupports.com/
I'm sure Susan got right on this and sent you a replacement. This is very unusual but stuff happens. Get back in touch and let us know if you got this straightened out. Sorry for the inconvenience.
At the 28:43 mark an image comes up saying i have reached a damaged section. Unable to view any more of the disc. Just notified Homespun and am awaiting their reply..
No risk of wrath from me, Colin. It's not a bad idea, although since the six string banjo is tuned exactly like a guitar, you can use any number of our DVDs to learn to play this instrument. I'll give it further thought, though. Thanks for the suggestion.
try this link,
good stuff, not expensive, I bought a plenty
but the guy is in vacation till next July 3rd
Someone has uploaded Paul's DVDs to YouTube. Thought you might like to know, since that would seem to be a violation of some sort.
killing the blues is on that, as well
douglas clark, you can get link of chain ...taught by chris himself, right here at homespun....his first dvd covers it.....
I was Googling around for some of the many covers of "Killing the Blues," and was fortunate enough to find Chris' live version (Paris, 2007). It's outstanding. (I should see if I can get that from Amazon.)
Also noticed that Acoustic Guitar magazine had Chris' "Link of Chain" as one of the Songs to Play in the May 2006 issue. Googled that, and found a YouTube video of a live performance. I think it's way beyond my abilities, but it sure sounded good.
Our friends at Platform Purple are continuing to upgrade their products to give our "students" the best possible way to view our lessons. I'm glad you noticed this particular function, although I believe we've had it for quite some time now. Anyway, thanks for noticing and passing along the info.
I just noticed that the latest purple player update has a "use external storage" toggle button. That is great news! I am trying it out now, and i bought another lesson to express my gratitude. Thanks for listening to your customers.
get your gloves on, nathan..looks like we're going' toe to toe..lol.....glad to see another huge chris smither fan........i especially would like to see him break down "small revelations"..."all we need to know".."outside in"...."deed i do"....."shillin' for the blues"...."seems so real"...to name a few
I agree! Another Chris Smither instructional DVD is what this music world needs. Chris Smither has incredible talent and I would fight Chris Knoeppel for being first in line! :)
Any chance of getting a video on Texas-Style Fiddle backup? There isn't much for resource that I can find out there.
Yes I've experienced that as well. They have their transfer rates throttled to a certain value. I'm guessing they are paying for a certain size internet pipe and want to stay within a defined limit. Once you've downloaded your course you're done so if it takes 5 minutes or 50 it doesn't really matter after that. So kick off a download and either practice another video or do it before going to sleep and it will be there for you the next day.
wishlist?....c'mon hap, let's make this happen...lol
Thanks so much for your suggestion of a new lesson by Chris Smither, one of my personal favorites. It’s a good idea and I'll add it to our "wish list" of possible new projects.
hope this message gets to you happy
If you purchased your DVD directly from us we will be glad to send you the .pdf of the booklet at no charge. Just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
By the way, the booklet should be encoded right on your DVD. If you downloaded the lesson it will always be available on our Instant Access site. So, there are several ways to get your booklet back again.
I hope this is a help to you. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks for asking. For the past three or four years I've been playing a Santa Cruz H-13, which was made for me (I picked out the wood at their shop) but it is one of their standard models. I love it and it's become my main guitar. It may have something to do with the 13-fret configuration, which gives it a very special sound.
I did play Taylors for years and still have several of them. Taylor makes excellent instruments (and they're getting better all the time) but I prefer the feel and sound of the SC. I have also made videos and have recorded with my Collings, which I also love. It's a very individual thing. These days it's hard to find a bad guitar.
