Adrian Legg
English guitarist Adrian Legg released his US debut album, "Guitars and Other Cathedrals" in 1990, an album whose bounding technical flourish, broad sense of style and bone-deep lyricism immediately perked up the ears of guitar fans everywhere. Since then, he has produced six award-winning CDs and picked up a growing legion of "Leggheads" along the way. His "Wine, Women & Waltz" was selected by the readers of Guitar Player magazine as Best Overall Guitar Album in the 1994 Readers' Poll. "Guitar for Mortals" and "Mrs. Crowe's Blue Waltz" each earned Acoustic Album of the Year honors in 1992 and 1993 respectively.
The readers of England's "Guitarist" heaped even greater praise on Legg, proclaiming him Acoustic Guitarist of the Decade in the magazine's 10th anniversary readers' poll.
