Roy Rogers
Roy Rogers honed his Delta blues style during four years as John Lee Hooker's featured guitarist/vocalist. Their ongoing relationship has resulted in two Grammies for Roy as producer for Hooker's albums The Healer and Mr. Lucky. Roy has also been nominated for three other Grammies, along with countless awards for his guitar playing and production talents.
He and his band, The Delta Rhythm Kings, have recorded several albums and tour extensively around the world. He has made two duet albums with harmonica wiz Norton Buffalo, and has worked with Keith Richards, Bonnie Raitt, Van Morrison, Carlos Santana and Los Lobos, among others.
