121 Favorite Irish Session Tunes

L.E. McCullough
Four audio hours plus 50 page Music and Chord Book on pdf file
  • Skill Level:Early Intermediate (3)

This collection of reels, jigs, hornpipes, set dances and O'Carolan melodies are the favorite tunes played in sessions at pubs and parties by Irish players around the world. Each tune is masterfully demonstrated on tinwhistle by L.E. McCullough, played slowly first and then up-to-speed and accompanied by Nancy Conescu's guitar and T.H. Gillespie's keyboard.

Learn each tune as played by the whistle or transcribed in the book, then - if you have a balance knob on your stereo - turn off the melody and play along with the rhythm parts for a great practice session.

Whether you play fiddle, accordion, flute, tinwhistle, banjo, bouzoukie, guitar or any other instrument, your skills will be sharpened to allow you to hold your own in any Irish music gathering.
