It's here at last! We finally have copies of the long sought-after tablature book that banjo players everywhere have been waiting for. Béla and Tony have painstakingly transcribed 21 selections from their popular CD, and present it here for players who want to dig in for a real challenge.
"Solo banjo music dates at least back to the late 1700s. This is our update. A barrage of bluegrass, a bevy of original tunes, a middle eastern sojourn, rags, jazz, Bach, fiddley tunes and a whole lot more. All this is played mostly on metal strung five-string banjos, with an occasional nylon too, usually with picks but sometimes without. In a couple of instances there's wah-wah pedal and stereo digital delay - spice for the stew." (From the CD jacket notes)
