A famed fiddler teaches essential tunes and then adds the ornaments--slides, grace notes, rolls, etc.--that make them distinctively Irish. Although a basic knowledge of the violin is necessary, these lessons are taught slowly and carefully, so that even a near-beginner can play the tunes.
